The world’s richest man has been called out for some bad behavior back in 2016.
How much does silence cost?
The sky is blue. Grass is green. And Elon Musk is in the headlines again. And although much of the time it seems like Elon is reveling in the limelight, on this occasion we’re willing to bet that he’s not having such a great time.
What’s the story? It seems that back in 2016, Elon was seriously inappropriate with a SpaceX flight attendant. We’re talking full-frontal exposure, inappropriate touching, and… offering to buy her a horse (in exchange for a massage). Bad vibes all round from the SpaceX head honcho. In the end, the company had to give her a generous severance package, and as much as $250,000 to ensure she wouldn’t sue.
Welcome to Elongate
Shock horror, though: Elon is making a joke out of it. Claiming that there is “a lot more to the story”, he’s since been characteristically bullish on – where else – Twitter. Quote tweeting his own post from last year, where he wrote “If there’s ever a scandal about me, please call it Elongate”, he posted on Friday: “Finally, we get to use Elongate as [sic] scandal name. It’s kinda perfect. 🤣”
Personal opinions on the story aside, it’s fair to say it’s not a laughing matter. And while SpaceX remains silent over the 2016 claims, Musk is once again being widely encouraged to put the damn phone down.
